Do you feel confident that you are giving your ELL students the support they need?

If you answered no, I want you to hear this... IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT!

When we take a quick look at the numbers, we are seeing that in the United States ELLs are now at 1 in 10 students across the country, and 1 in 4 in metropolitan areas. Compare that to the number of teachers certified to teach ELLs is only 1 in 150! (Source: )

So even if you aren't certified to teach ELLs, you still have ELLs in your classroom that need a much different style of teaching than native English speakers. This situation is prime for stressed out, overwhelmed, and burdened teachers! Teachers who want to do what's best for their students, but just really aren't sure where to begin or where to go.

If this sounds like your day to day, then join me on simplifying the process through an easy 3 step framework that will help you see meeting the needs of ELLs through a whole different mindset.

A Note From The Instructor...

I have not always been an advocate for English Language Learners, and for the first few years of my teaching, I actually did very little to differentiate and support these students. Instead I was overwhelmed, stressed, and under pressure to help my language learners get to grade level even though I really had no clue how to get there.
Fast forward 10 years, and those ELL students I had in my first few years have left on an unshakeable impression on me that they deserved better. As I began learning tools and strategies, and began seeing the potential each student had, I developed an unquenchable passion to help others see that same success in their classroom. It can be done, and all without adding more onto your plate.
